WHAT IS OUR MISSION?
Keeping RPCVs connected to Ukraine through networking, providing information and fundraising for Ukraine-related projects.
Friends of Ukraine activities primarily focus on advocacy, education, environment, economic development and health. We work with Peace Corps and related agencies and we network and promote service and social activities among our members. As we evolve and mature, so will our mission and our vision
Friends of Ukraine has three main goals:
1. We seek to initiate and implement programs, activities, and publications related to Ukraine for the benefit of our membership.
2. We support projects and organizations in Ukraine as appropriate.

In our short history, Friends of Ukraine members have initiated and influenced development of several significant projects including work in the areas of human trafficking, orphanages, HIV/AIDS awareness, summer camps, technology, teacher training, business centers, and environmental issues. Recently, Friends of Ukraine was awarded a $1000 grant from the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) to initiate an innovative sister college partnership.(details are available by e-mailing their yahoo listserv)
Friends of Ukraine has the potential to develop a strong small grants program and will continue to grow and serve as our membership increases.
