Board of Directors Nominations. With staggered 3 year terms it seems that
there is always an upcoming opening as Friends of Ukraine Board members terms
expire each summer. Nominations for new members are accepted and elections are
held. If you are motivated and interested, don’t be shy; please consider
serving on the Friends of Ukraine Board!
The Friends of Ukraine Board oversees organizational activities such as
membership, finances, web site, newsletter, projects, events, grants, and
conferences. Because members are geographically separated, conference calls and
e-mail are the primary tools used to coordinate activities. Board members also
try to attend the Friends of Ukraine General Meetings and Reunions in person or
via a conference call that is amplified during a portion of the main
reunion/meeting.
