On the Mall in DC?
Being a typical returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) you pride yourself on being flexible and capable of dealing with ambiguity.  But that does not mean you can’t have a plan!  So where will YOU be 22-25 September 2011?

Make plans to be on the Washington DC Mall and help the National Peace Corps Association and lots of motivated RPCVs and friends celebrate 50 years of Peace Corps.  Big events are in the works.

Or How About a Day on the Beach in Crimea ?
Friends of Ukraine is a grass roots organization.  Our shared bond is our interest in Ukraine .  So it follows that we might want to plan a more personal celebration of Peace Corps’ 50 years. 

But how about a Crimean beach reunion in 2011?

Looking for a Beach Party Project Manager!
Can we pull this day at the beach off?  Not without some teamwork and some commitment.  This is a great opportunity for one of you business people to flex your skills! Or maybe one of you youth development folks who have wrangled details of summer camp would like to tackle this project.  We need a good project manager and a team to make it happen.   And we need to start a timeline soon.  Please e-mail a Fiends of Ukraine officer if you want to be involved in making this happen.
