Departing from the pier, you coach will take you to the historic part of the city where you start you introduction to Khersones with the exploration of the state Historical and Archeological Museum, which proudly displays quite a few archeological finding of Greek city-colonies (6th and 5th centuries B.C.), the Bosphoran Kingdom among them.  Some of the precious excavations date as far back as a Roman strong-hold:  the fortress Kharaks, Khazar Kaganate, the Golden Horde, Genoese colonists and Ottoman Empire.
     Reboarding your coach, you will continue your drive past Inkerman battlefields to mount Sapun, the scene of the bloody battles of May, 1944 to the Balaclava Valley.
     Your guided tour will take you to the ruins of the Genoese Fortress (14the century) and the military cemetery of British officers and soldiers, who perished here in the Crimean War.
     Reboard your coach and return to the ship.
